Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides (AMP)

If you love Aloe vera you will see this term often, so I wanted to clarify what it means. This term marks the active ingredient in many Aloe vera products. AMPs are what people attribute healing properties of Aloe vera to.

In the Bible there's a mention that after Christ was taken from the cross his body was wrapped in Aloe and myrrh (John 19:39). I thought this could be interesting for all the Christians and others too.

There's an interesting story on Alexander the Great conquering an entire island (Socotra) just to get Aloe vera for his troops. I guess he would be astonished by today's Aloe vera products!
